I really enjoyed the first in this series, Thief’s Magic (review), and can’t wait for the next one! Trudi Canavan is best known for her Black Magician trilogy, and while I enjoyed that, I enjoyed this even more.

I read her Age of the Five trilogy, and while I loved the story for the most part, I thought it could’ve done without some minor but lengthy parts here and there. Thus, I’m not sure if I will be picking up something of hers again, but she sure knows her magic, so… I’m conflicted! x)

All I needed to know was magic school and then I was on board! I need to pick up book one. For some reason I have yet to read a book by Trudi Canavan.

When I first saw the title I had no idea what it was until I saw the cover and realized it was the sequel to Thief’s Magic. Yes, I want to read this one!
