Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to let us share our excitement for books coming out soon.
What can I say, I really enjoyed The Mechanical (my review), and can’t wait to read the next installment. I love the whole dilemma of what constitutes a thinking being, loved the intrigue and spies, and really am looking forward to continuing the story.

The second book in the Alchemy Wars trilogy by Ian Tregillis, an epic tale of liberation and war.

Reborn in the flames, he must begin his life as a free Clakker, but liberation proves its own burden.Berenice, formerly the legendary spymaster of New France, mastermind behind her nation’s attempts to undermine the Dutch Hegemony — has been banished from her homeland and captured by the Clockmakers Guild’s draconian secret police force.
Meanwhile, Captain Hugo Longchamp is faced with rallying the beleaguered and untested defenders of Marseilles-in-the-West for the inevitable onslaught from the Brasswork Throne and its army of mechanical soldiers.
I love this cover! I still need to read the first book but I think I can read it before December.

Still have to read the first one, but I’m remember reading the reviews and knowing I would like it. I’m right there with you on book’s theme that deal with what separates man from machine and A.I.

I can’t wait for this – I loved the first and it’s so good to have a cover and an anticipated date. This and Flex have been two of my favourite books this year so far.
