Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature all about sharing your good luck in book acquisitions! So here’s what came my way since my last post!

I have still been trying to show some restraint with my book request, but always easier said than done! 🙂 Anyway, I am excited about the books I received over the past couple of weeks!

This book sounds quite different from Certain Dark Things, in fact, it sounds closer to the Glamourist Histories books I recently read by Mary Robinette Kowal. But seeing as how I loved that style/setting, and I loved Moreno-Garcia’s writing, I think this could be an amazing read. Thanks so much to Thomas Dunne Books for the review copy.

  1. What a smashing book haul:). I LOVED The Forgotten Beasts of Eld and I’m delighted that it is being re-released – it deserves to be better known. I also loved The Girl with All the Gifts and so I’ll be interested to see what you make of The Boy on the Bridge. Have a great time reading your new finds!

  2. Great haul! I’m excited to hear more about The Beautiful Ones, since I’m really enjoying Certain Dark Things on audio, at the moment. And I think everyone is excited for The Boy on the Bridge 😀 Enjoy!!
