This is a where I look back at what I read (or tried to read) during the past month. I also plan on highlighting my experiences in any book club reads I from the month as well. I will always start with any books I would label as a surprise find/under-read books so if anyone missed my reviews for them, and don’t make it to the end of this post, they’ll be easy to find.
So, I know the posts on my blog have been a bit more sporadic the past few months. I was super busy with kids and work. And now I’ve decided its time to make some changes in my life and seriously get back into a real excercise routine (my once a week soccer game wasnt cutting it). So, adding about 7 hours a week to that has seriously cut into my already sparse free time. Bleh…. work, kids, gym… need more reading time. But I am finding I am slowly settling back into some sort of routine, and finding ways to fit reading/reviewing/random online stuff back to at least some acceptable degree.
I did start my new Sunday feature called The Sunday Share, in an effort to spread the word about interesting reviews and books and blogs. All of our favorite things! 🙂
And I am hoping to find enough time to seriously figure out bookshelves in my house. Right now I am guilty of just having piles and piles in multiple rooms of my house. It makes it hard to find anything and also, I feel bad. My books deserve some space of their own I think.
Highlighted Read
I enjoyed Torn by Rowenna Miller quite a bit! It was a light, easy read with an interesting premise. My review should be up in the next week or two.

What I Read
OK, so I only managed 3 this month 🙁 Fingers crossed I get more next time.
Backlist Burndown
Welp, I am hoping to get back with Backlist Burndown, but right now I am trying to catch up with review commitments first. Maybe next month?
Looking Forward to
I’ve seen Torn listed on the Orbit newsletter but I was unsure about it, so I’m more than looking forward to your review to learn more 🙂
I’ve had a really rough time blogging lately, too. I carved out time today to at least catch up on what everyone else is up to. 🙂 I think I’m going to try blogging ahead for a while and see how that goes. That’s not something I’ve really ever done in the past.

I’ve been telling myself that I need to exercise regularly for years now. I’m taking baby steps by trying to walk as much as I can (which will get easier when it gets warmer by me).
I really want to check out Daughters of the Storm!
