Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme by That Artsy Reader Girl. This feature gives a weekly Top Ten list. We all love lists, right?
This week’s theme is: Frequently Used Words In FANTASY Titles
I went with BLOOD for this one, and used either series or title names, and I went WAY WAY over 10. I actually paired it down quite a bit and still wound up with a ton.
Omg, there’s tons! And I just realized that I read a lot of them as well hahaha! Promise of Blood, Blood of Dragons, Blood Song.. Hey,. and I liked them all very much, so maybe I should go after more bloody books 😀
I know! So many Blood books out there!

Blood is a pretty popular word today! I can see why, you just don’t realize how many titles use a certain word until you make a list!

I know! I figured there would be some, but was crossing my fingers to get to 10. Then wound up with close to 40 and paired it down

Yikes! Yes, “blood” is a popular word in book titles. We readers are a morbid lot, apparently!

I’ve read several of these. And I sure could add more to the list. LOL Another word that would make a long list is girl or girls. It sure is in a lot of titles.

I think “Blood” is as ubiquitous in fantasy as “Girl” and “Woman” are in thrillers and mysteries. 🙂
Seems that way!

Haha, I chose the word Blood too. I was really trying to find a word where I could field a list of ten books that I loved or adored. Queen, Shadow, King, Dragon all didn’t work, but Blood had a lot of hits so that was that 😀

Oh my goodness! What an excellent choice… I sort of knew it was a popular choice for titles – but not just HOW popular.
