Waiting on Wednesday is a meme that was hosted by Breaking the Spine to let us share our excitement for books coming out soon. It has gone the way of the wind and is no longer hosted there. But Wishful Endings is now hosting Can’t Wait Wednesday so we can keep the momentum going and link up there.
Torn was such a great read, it was wonderful reading a female protagonist whose strength and contribution came from something more than physical strength (even though I do love that). The whole integrating magic and sewing, and her weaving charms into the gowns she makes for women was just amazing. I can’t wait for the next one.

In this epic sequel to Torn, the magical seamstress Sophie Balstrade navigates a royal court and foreign alliances fraught with danger — and may well have to risk everything for love and for country.
Open revolt has been thwarted — for now — but unrest still simmers in the kingdom of Galitha. Sophie, despite having built a thriving business on her skill at both dressmaking and magic, has not escaped unscathed from her misadventures in the workers’ rebellion. Her dangerous foray into curse casting has rendered her powers unpredictable, and her increasingly visible romantic entanglement with the Crown Prince makes her a convenient target for threatened nobles and malcontented commoners alike. With domestic political reform and international alliances — and her own life — at stake, Sophie must discern friend from foe… before her magic grows too dark for her to wield.
Rowenna Miller’s enchanting fantasy series, the Unraveled Kingdom, is perfect for fans of The Queen of the Tearling and Red Queen.T
A reminder that I still need to read Torn lol! Hope you enjoy this one!

Oh I didn’t know about this one
I’ll be checking this one out here. Thank you for highlighting it! Here’s what I’m waiting on if you’d like to stop by!
Yes! I can’t way for Fray, either. Torn was such a great book and a really refreshing fantasy, I’m looking forward to what’s next. Great pick! 🙂
Man, the sequel is due out already? I haven’t even read Torn yet!
Sounds good. I read the first Tearling book and liked it, so seeing it compared to that piques my interest!
I never got a chance to read the first book, even though it was one I was curious about.
Torn is a book I’ve not read but your summary of it sounds great and I’m loving the cover for this one. Hope you enjoy.
Lynn 😀
Apparently I need to read Torn!
