Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I randomly scrolled to a page in my current book, The Dragon’s Path. This quote is both one that I really like, but also not one I would have sought out to highlight. Either way, I think it may actually be a fun choice.
As if from a previous life, Yardem Hane’s landslide of a voice spoke in her memory. There’s no such thing as a woman’s natural weapon. She saw now that it wasn’t true.
Abraham, Daniel (2011-04-07). The Dragon’s Path (The Dagger and the Coin) (p. 406). Hachette Book Group. Kindle Edition.
Haha I laughed right away XD I don’t know the context of what is going on, but I think someone is in trouble.

Someone always seems to be in trouble! And yes, this is no exception! 🙂

Gosh I hardly remember this book anymore. That’s actually quite a good quote though, from picking a page at random!

Actually, yeah I think it is pretty good. It’s one I recognized right away.

Awesome quote and it definitely makes me want to know more about the context.
