This is a where I look back at what I read (or tried to read) during the past month. I also plan on highlighting my experiences in any book club reads I from the month as well. I will always start with any books I would label as a surprise find/under-read books so if anyone missed my reviews for them, and don’t make it to the end of this post, they’ll be easy to find.
SERIOUSLY??? I am writing the October Monthly Musings posts?? I supposed I am. Anyway, this has been a busy month. I’m happy that even going an entire week without posting here, I was surprised to see I still posted eight reviews. So, feeling better about my gap week 🙂 This was also the first full month of The Speculative Herald. Things there are going quite well. In a month, we posted over 20 reviews, and I feel I owe a huge thanks to all my wonderful blogger friends that are contributing over there!

MONTH Backlist Burndown
I found myself returning to the world of White Trash zombies, with White Trash Zombie Apocalypse. It’s a fun series, nice for when I need something light.
Here’s what other people read and burned off their backlist this month! It makes me happy to see other people joining in with this, so thanks to all of you! 🙂 Anyone else that posted a backlist review this month, feel free to link up! Hope to see another great set of books for November.
Looking Forward to MONTH 2015
I have more to read than I have time to list. Here’s just a few I hope to get to. A couple of them (Ancillary Mercy and The Flux I *meant* to have read by now!)
You had a good month. I’d quite like to read all of the three books you’ve highlighted – I particularly fancy the Wake of Vultures.
Also, big thanks to you for The Speculative Herald 😀
Lynn
They are all so worth reading! I’ve been waiting for more people to read, well, all of them! Any of them! This month I realized the three books I highlights I haven’t seen reviewed quite as often as I have other books I’ve read.

I’ve been looking to Black Wolves too! It is a BIG book; over 800 pages! That excites me so much 😀

I know! It’s a bit intimidating too though! 🙂

I meant to have read The Flux too, oops! Also Wake of Vultures. I would have thought things would be slowing down in October but instead I’ve fallen even more behind 🙂

Its like a snowball effect, books seem to be coming faster, and the TBR just keeps growing larger.
