Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to let us share our excitement for books coming out soon.
I loved Binti. I mean, a math loving protagonist setting out to create new possibilities for herself instead of settling for society’s expectations of her. So, I am very much looking forward to reading what is in store for her next.

The thrilling sequel to the Nebula-nominated Binti. It’s been a year since Binti and Okwu enrolled at Oomza University. A year since Binti was declared a hero for uniting two warring planets. A year since she left her family to pursue her dream.
And now she must return home to her people, with her friend Okwu by her side, to face her family and face her elders.
But Okwu will be the first of his race to set foot on Earth in over a hundred years, and the first ever to come in peace.
After generations of conflict can human and Meduse ever learn to truly live in harmony?
I heard some really good things about the first book in this series so it’s nice to see a follow-up coming out. Hope you love it!

Oh a different cover there, it’s intriguing
I didn’t like the first book as much as you, so I’ll probably want to check out one of her full-length novels before I tackle this one, but I hope you’ll like it as much as Binti!
