Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to let us share our excitement for books coming out soon.
After finishing The Family Plot, I knew I would want to read more by Cherie Priest. Her upcoming book Brimstone sounds amazing! Can’t wait to read it.

I’ve already seen this on another blog this morning and like you, I’m waiting on this one as well (I featured it 2-3 weeks ago). I wish it wasn’t so far away as it sounds like a perfect read for this time of year. I loved The Family Plot too and hope we both enjoy this one!

I’ve read two Cherie Priest books in the past that didn’t really work for me, but now I’m reading The Family Plot and I am hooked! She seems like a very versatile writer with many styles, so I will probably have to give this one a try too now.

Those three words – dark historical fantasy – will hook me every time! That description plus gorgeous cover art is a winning combo if I’ve ever seen one.
